Increase in the Monthly minimum wage in France from 01 May 2022


The Smic will automatically increase by 2.65% on 1 May due to inflation and will exceed €1300

On Friday 15 April it was announced that the minimum wage will automatically increase by 2.65% on 1 May 2022. For a full-time worker, the monthly minimum wage will be €1,645.58 gross. In net terms, it will rise from €1,269 to €1,302.64.

The minimum wage will automatically increase on 1 May by 2.65% due to the high inflation recorded since November, the Ministry of Labour announced on Friday 15 April to AFP.

1,302.64 net for a full-time worker

For a full-time worker, the monthly minimum wage will be €1,645.58 gross. In net terms, it will rise from €1,269 to €1,302.64. The gross hourly minimum wage will rise from €10.57 to €10.85.
